Metals Inspector (Madison East Side)

Our Madison WI client has an immediate temp to hire opening for full time Inspector. Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Inspector directs and inspects inbound scrap metal to the facility. The Inspector is responsible for: knowing the location of the yards inventory; identifying and grading inbound scrap; identifies and rejects unacceptable material/items; directs customers in traffic flow for proper unloading; completes inspection ticket and provides to customer; may operate equipment and performs other duties as assigned.

Required

  • Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience in metals identification is needed. Must be able to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
