House painting

We are seeking a reliable general laborers to perform exterior painting on residential homes. The role involves preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching, then applying primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. The painter will maintain a clean and organized worksite, protecting non-painted areas such as furniture, flooring, windows, decking, etc. Employee should be able to understand and follow all safety protocols. This position requires effective teamwork and occasional courteous interactions with clients.

The work schedule typically consists of four 10-hour days per week, with pay ranging from $16 to $20 per hour based on experience and skill level.

Essential Duties

  • Inspect surfaces and determine appropriate preparation and painting methods
  • Mix paints and materials to achieve desired colors and finishes
  • Remove old paint coatings when necessary
  • Cover and protect surfaces not to be painted
  • Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks and holes before painting
  • Clean tools and equipment after use
  • Load and unload painting materials and tools at job sites
  • Adhere to company safety standards and OSHA regulations

Required

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to speak and understand basic English for communication and safety or use a translation app
  • Reliable transportation to and from the main office
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions

Desired

  • Prior experience in house painting or related construction work
  • Basic knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment

Pay: $16 - $20 hourly
