Position: Landscaping and Retaining Wall Installation Crew Member
Starting Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Essential Duties

  • As a Landscaping Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and installation of retaining walls and other landscaping projects.
  • Your duties will include:
  • - Physical Labor: Shoveling dirt, hauling materials with wheelbarrows, and moving supplies as needed.
  • - Equipment Operation: Using portable tools and assisting with skid steer operations (experience with skid steers is desirable).
  • - Water Work: Working in or around water using waders when necessary.
  • - Safety Compliance: Following all company safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
  • - Team Collaboration: Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • - Instructional Adherence: Understanding and following instructions without oversight to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.

Required

  • To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
  • 1. Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting positively on our company when interacting with clients or in public.
  • 2. Physical Fitness: Must be in good physical shape and ready to perform physically demanding work, including shoveling and carrying materials weighing between 20 lbs to 50 lbs.
  • 3. Work Attire: Must own work boots and durable pants suitable for outdoor labor.
  • 4. Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
  • 5. Experience: Skid steer experience is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
  • 6. Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with portable tools used in landscaping or construction is preferred.

Desired

  • - Fluent in Spanish and English is highly desirable
  • - Supervisory experience

Pay: $18 per hour hourly
