Packaging Associate
The Packaging Associate prepares products and packaging to meet customer specifications in compliance with the company's Safe Quality Food Program.
Temp to hire Day and Night Shifts available - 12 hour shifts, 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am, working rotating days....approx. 15 days per month.
Essential Duties
- • Maintain area, equipment and personal sanitation.
- • Prepare, weigh, lift and carry product. (lifting weights of 25-50 lbs)
- • Palletize product.
- • Enter data on production sheets.
- • Productive use of down time.
- • Expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures. Employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
- • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required
- • Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
- • Ability to read and prepare and comprehend production sheets.
- • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- • Basic computer skills.
- • Ability to run forklifts safely.
- • Knowledge of GMPs
- • High schoool diploma or equivalent required
- • Reliability a must!
Pay: $12.50-$12.75 Starting hourly
